# mod-bounty-board
v0.2: kill-count *and* kill-target bounty tracking for a rotating weekly bounty board, in the
spirit of FFXIV's Hunt Board. See `PLAN.md` for the full design (three bounty types, rotation
mechanism, DB schema, and implementation order) — this is deliberately still a narrow slice, with
no rotation timer or board NPC yet.
## What it does (today)
- Module loads and logs a confirmation (`BountyBoard_World::OnStartup`).
- `BountyBoard.Enable` config flag toggles the module; defaults to enabled.
- Loads active bounties from `mod_bounty_board_rotation`/`mod_bounty_board_template` (world DB) at
startup. Currently seeded with two fixed test bounties: kill 5 Ragged Young Wolves (entry 705,
`kill_count`), and kill 1 Defias Cutpurse (entry 94, `kill_target`).
- `kill_target` bounties are summoned into the world at startup (`SpawnBountyTargets`, via
`Map::SummonCreature`/`TEMPSUMMON_MANUAL_DESPAWN`) — they don't otherwise exist.
- Kills matching an active bounty (either type) are tracked per-character in
`mod_bounty_board_progress` (characters DB) via `BountyBoard_Player::OnPlayerCreatureKill`.
Reaching the required count auto-grants the reward and sends a chat confirmation.
- `.bounty` lists active bounties and your progress against each.
- No rotation timer yet (seeded bounties are always active), no despawn/respawn of `kill_target`
creatures after they're killed, no champion content, no board NPC/gossip UI — see `PLAN.md`'s
implementation order for what's next.
## Config
Copy `conf/mod_bounty_board.conf.dist` to your worldserver config directory as
`mod_bounty_board.conf` (or merge into your combined module config), per the usual AzerothCore
module convention.
