# Shared Kill Credit ## Description "Shared Kill Credit" is a module for AzerothCore that gives quest kill credit to every player who helped kill a creature, not just whoever tapped it (or their group). If you've been fighting a mob and someone from another group lands the final blow, or a mob wanders into someone else's fight, you still get credit for your own quest objectives as long as you're still nearby when it dies. ## How it works Normally only the tapping player and their group are rewarded on a kill (`KillRewarder`, driven by the creature's single tap-recipient/tap-group). This module tracks, per creature, every player whose damage (or whose pet's/totem's damage) landed on it, via the `OnDamage` unit hook. When the creature dies, it grants `KilledMonster` quest credit — and *only* quest credit, no bonus XP/reputation/loot — to every tracked player who: - isn't already covered by the normal tap/group reward path (to avoid double-crediting), and - is still within normal group-reward range of the corpse at the moment of death (the same range check used for existing group quest credit). ## Configuration See `conf/mod_shared_kill_credit.conf.dist` (rename to `mod_shared_kill_credit.conf` to use): ```ini SharedKillCredit.Enable = 1 ```
